Kuwait, Kuwait City, February 14, 2023 - Amideast and Boeing have successfully completed a series of aerospace workshops for children in Kuwait. Thirty kids ages 8-12 attended the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) course in January-February 2023.
The program has contributed to the implementation of Kuwait’s National Development Plan and New Kuwait 2035 Vision by enhancing youth educational and critical thinking skills.
The focus of the program was on aerospace, with students taking part in workshops designed to foster curiosity, encourage exploration and inspire students to pursue aerospace careers in the future. Topics included the concept of flight, as well as outer space and the importance of space exploration. The program came to a close with an event in Kuwait City where the young participants demonstrated their ‘moonbase’ projects.
