Bahrain-based cargo charter airline and MRO says 737-800BCF performance and capabilities will help them meet growing demand for freight transport services
United Arab Emirates, Dubai, June 03, 2021 - Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Texel Air, a subsidiary of Chisholm Enterprises, today announced an order for the Bahrain-based airline’s second 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF).
“This additional expansion of our Boeing Converted Freighter fleet will help us meet the increased demand we are seeing from our customers for cargo transport services,” said George Chisholm, chief executive officer, Chisholm Enterprises & Texel Air. “We chose to purchase our second 737-800BCF based on the positive response we have received from the markets we serve, and the demonstrated performance and capabilities of the aircraft.”
