Boeing and Action Care partner with Emirates Red Crescent to bring Ramadan joy to children in the UAE
Dubai, UAE, June 22, 2017 - Boeing (NYSE: BA) employees are active volunteers in the community, and this Ramadan they are proud to demonstrate their commitment to UAE’s Year of Giving by spending an evening with less privileged children in the UAE.
As part of the “Gift of Giving” program organized by Action Care, 50 children, under the care of the Emirates Red Crescent, spent an evening of fun at KidZania at Dubai Mall.
Twenty Boeing volunteers took the children through a range of edutainment experiences at KidZania Dubai. The children explored the themed-play zones and enjoyed live shows and activities designed to stimulate children’s imaginations and facilitate the development of their social skills.
“Ramadan is a time of togetherness for families, and for underprivileged children it could become a difficult time without the support of groups such as Emirates Red Crescent and Action Care. It is an honor to partner with these two entities to bring some joy to children who need as much as support as society can give,” said Bernard Dunn, president of Boeing Middle East, North Africa and Turkey
