Omar Mian joined Boeing Capital Corporation as Senior Director - Customer Finance, covering Middle East & Africa based out of Dubai.

Omar brings 18 years of corporate and investment banking experience in emerging markets, with an extensive background in aviation, structured finance, client coverage and risk management. He previously worked for Citigroup, Standard Chartered Bank and until recently, First Abu Dhabi Bank based in the UAE. In his last role, he was instrumental in the bank’s award of Best Aviation Bank in the Middle East & Africa for 2016 and 2017.

In his capacity as a senior banker he has originated, structured and executed major transactions for many leading airlines and lessors encompassing various aircraft financing structures, unsecured credit facilities, capital market issuances and risk management solutions vis-à-vis interest rate, FX and fuel hedging.

Omar holds an MSc in International Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics & Political Science and a BA in Business Economics from the University of Durham.
